Responsibilities of the position

The responsibilities and tasks related to the job are :

  • Monitor the printing process to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed
  • Prepare, align and configure machinery and ink onto the press to ensure colour uniformity
  • Set up and prepare the printing presses by loading and changing cylinders on presses in collaboration with others colleagues
  • Maintain and organize cylinder
  • Perform routine maintenance on ink pumps
  • Remove, clean and lubricate press equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the printing environment
  • Report any safety concerns or issues to supervisors.
  • Seek opportunities for process improvement, implementing new technologies and optimizing workflow.
  • Work in collaboration with other team members, and all necessary personnel when a problem arise.
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor
