SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lead our human resources department. The HR Director will be reporting to the HR VP and will be responsible of providing support to the employees and management team in all aspects of Human Resources operations for our Beaverton and Lubbock plant with the possibility to add new sites in the future, as the company is growing. Our goal is to introduce core HR programs and initiatives including Talent Planning, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Performance Rewards etc.

Responsibilities of the position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the entire recruitment process and selection process, including job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Manage the integration process for new employees, ensuring a fluent transition and compliance with all necessary documents and orientations.
  • Implement innovative human resources practices that foster team mobilization and commitment.
  • Work in partnership with the management team to promote employee growth and development.
  • Act as an advisor to the management team in establishing good human resources practices to promote an optimal work environment.
  • Establish strong working relationships with operations managers and employees to address human resources issues proactively and responsively.
  • Provide ongoing HR advice to management on programs, practices, policies, legislation, and regulatory requirements, including policy interpretation, risk identification, business impact and recommended solutions.
  • Drive talent management, development, performance appraisal and other employee lifecycle processes.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures, training programs, policy changes and communications.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion efforts to promote a diverse and equitable workplace environment.
  • Assist the OHS specialist in all matters relating to occupational health and safety management.
  • Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents and accidents, identify the causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid the recurrence of similar events.
  • Perform administrative and other duties as required by the business.

Required profile

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Human resources bachelor’s degree or an equivalent.
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Thoroughness and discretion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
  • Valid passport.
  • Willingness to travel if necessary.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent in Spanish is an important asset.
