Production Foreman

We are currently looking for a Production Foreman for the Weekend nightshift at our facility in Brampton. Reporting to the Plant manager, the Production foreman will assure the efficient daily operations of the plant and our commitment to our health and safety program. We are looking for a team player for whom the day to day challenges of a manufacturing environment brings out their very best. 

Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours !

Responsibilities of the position

  • Assure the efficient operations of the facility
  • Setup and run blown film extruder and 4 color printing jobs
  • Support and lead production personnel
  • Review and schedule production and manpower requirements
  • Participate in the training of production employees
  • Prepare production reports
  • Follow the production KPI including Safety, Quality, Efficiency and House keeping.
  • Provide information, instruction and supervision to the crew
  • Implement, distribute, maintain and train employees on the health and safety program, procedures and safe work practices
  • Investigate accidents and near miss situations
  • Respect the standards of quality as well as health and safety at work according to company policy and Govt. regulations
  • Coordinate all shift activities in accordance with the company’s “employee working conditions manual”
  • Be a Health and Safety leader on the floor

Required profile

  • Relevant Hands-on experience in Blown film manufacturing industry.
  • Leadership
  • Respectful management style
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Autonomous, methodical and efficient
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Working knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act
  • Mastery of computer tools such as the MS Office suite


Full time position – weekend shift

2 sick days per year
